Are Wendy's burgers really never frozen?

Is it true that Wendy's burgers are really never frozen? After all, their slogan is "Fresh Never Frozen Meat." It just doesn't seem possible.

they dont COOK frozen burgers.the others chains use a conveyor belt or a steamer and all are configured to cook a frozen patty-or a partially thawed burger.thats why B.K. and McD patties are always THIN.Wendys grills them.so its not true that the cooked burgers unused go in the chili.as Wendys cooks your burger when you order it.but the unused THAWED burgers are re-frozen and used for chili.no fast food chain could possibly serve fresh beef.its simply not financially concievable.

It's true, I know someone who works at Wendy's. Think about it, when you go to the grocery store you can see ground beef in the freezer and you can see fresh ground beef in the cooler. It will last for a few days once refridgerated, same as it does at home. The other places can get a delivery once a week with a tom of frozen beef, Wendy's therefore needs to be supplied more often. Wendy's doesn't waste the burgers either, after they are cooked, any unsold burgers are saved for their chili.

Wendy's burgers are NEVER frozen. Each morning a truck comes with fresh ground beef. The workers cut it, shape it and package it for the day. Never frozen.

They keep the temp probaly at 37 degrees not quite freezing but they thaw in the meat cooler until ready.

    They probably are frozen.

How are they supposed to transport the meat from the farms to the Wendy's establishments without contaminating the meat? They NEED to freeze it to kill off any bacteria or diseases possibly growing in the meat.

If they really don't freeze their meat, I wouldn't eat there.

I never understood that either. It seems so unrealistic but by some of these answers maybe its real.

It seems like their meat would go bad.

I assume so. They have been around a long time, if they were lying someone would have talked.
