Question about Big L?

Well i was listening to some old songs of his, and i was thinking what a shame that such a great artist was gunned down and can't make any great music anymore. Anyway on that note we all know that Notorious B.I.G. & Tupac have gotten Posthumous albums, but why not Big L? Does anybody know if he will receive one soon?

though recorded 97-99, his album the big picture came out in 2000 after he had been killed.

wikipedia reports a new album is due "summer 2007" called real legends never die.

He still has "Ghost verses" that appear as well on people's albums. Most of the lyrics already appeared on a previous Big L release though. The Big Picture did come out after he died and even included Freestyles and other stuff.

The main reason would be that Biggie and Tupac were already big stars when they died and had spent a lot of time in big studious where there recordings were well archived. Big L wasn't as big at the time of his death and didn't record as much to be released later. Even out of the stuff he did record, who knows where it is? The major labels don't have it and whatever studio he was recording in is probably closed and the stuff is just "lost".

Umm I dont think that he had recorded that much music before he died...He was just about to really break out of the underground just before he got shot. Pac recorded non stop because he want to get his record contract forfilled so he had a lot of material left after he died...Big post album were made up of material he recorded right before he died that didnt make the second album and music that got cut from the first...free styles here in there.. guess appearances what ever they could put together.
