Would you consider having to where a "Hello Kitty" armband as punishment cruel and unusual?

In Bangkok, Thailand Police officers caught littering, parking in a prohibited area, or arriving late — among other misdemeanors — will be forced to stay in the division office and wear the armband all day, said Police Col. Pongpat Chayaphan. The officers won't wear the armband in public.

LMAO, I think it's stupid, what do you think?

Update:

Sorry about the ware - wear - where thing. That's stupid two to too. Laughing makes me stutter, but it's worth it!

That's cruel and unusual but I'm sure they've got their stuff together I know I wouldn't want to be caught walking around the office sporting a hello kitty arm band

It's definitely unusual, but certainly not cruel, unless you have a super big ego. I think it's funny, and if it works I think we should bring it to the US. Just imagine, next time a cop goes speeding past you, or parks somewhere illegally, you can flag them and make them wear a pokemon T-shirt or something, I would love that :)

merely be grateful you're no longer a baker. How approximately 2am? in case you checklist at 6am, which potential you're residing house via a minimum of three or 3:30, so which you have something of the day and night to take exhilaration in. i'd say you're fortunate.

Personally, yes -- it would be cruel and unusual punishment to anyone who was an anti-felinetarian.

But as shame punishments go, it's creative and since it's just at the station, it doesn't impair their ability to do their jobs.

I wouldn't think it as being cruel and unusual punishment, but a "man's man" probably would.

It's interesting to find out what various people consider to be "cruel and unusual punishment", huh?
