Talk about being biased...YAHOO SPORTS ANALYSTS SUCK?

ndiana Pacers All-Star Jermaine O'Neal has taken to publicly begging for a trade to the Lakers, but so far L.A. management is still reluctant to part with Andrew Bynum. And seriously, who thinks that adding O'Neal at the expense of Lamar Odom and/or Bynum transforms the Lakers into a contender. With or without O'Neal, Kobe will be miserable.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Ag9R8pmwbDnj...

how pathetic is this guy who wrote it...Adrian Wojnarowski

what the hell is he talking about?

O'neal will make more of an impact THAN both Bynum/Odom combined...O'neal is more aggressive offensively and defensively and plays with heart and passion the whole frickin 48 minutes...I've never seen passive guys like Bynum and Odom do that

JO brings intensity and big time experience to the lakers (2 consecutive eastern finals in 03 and 04 playoffs)...why havent the lakers made the trade already? JO for odom/bynum/1st round pick!

I totally agree. Kobe needs to be on a team that has GOOD players like him. Even if he raises his team up, The others aren't helping!

Only reason why the Lakers are reluctant to give up Odom is because he is their best playmaker besides Kobe. Odom has the skills to give you a triple-double, also he led their team in assists or was second. If they got a point gaurd like Mike Bibby then giving up Odom and Bynum for O'neal would work for them. Seeing that they dont have a productive PG yet they wont give him up.

I think he is quite on point, more than the general "LOLZ JONELL IZ AWSOM!" crowd. Building a team is a lot more complicated than the trade for the biggest name availible plan. Just look at what happened with the Knicks. Just look at it this way, does JO guarantee a championship? Becuase if he doens't Kobe can still opt out, there is no more Odom and Bynum and your stuck with O'Neals massive contract so you can't rebuild.

No, Yahoo Sports analysts in general don't suck. It's just Adrian Wojnarowski. He sucks.

But I think what he meant to say was, the duo of Kobe- J-O'Neal won't mean the Lakers can contend with the Spurs, Suns, and Mavs.

He's the same guy who just slammed Minnesota for making a deal they were pretty much forced to make, and one in which they somehow wound up with Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, one major expiring contract, AND two first rounders. Jefferson alone gives them something to build around.

I completely agree with you, just because O'neil has been on his own for so many years doesn't mean he isn't a monster to recon with on the block.....he should go the celtics and play center.....dreams, dreams....!
