why is that sound doesn't play when i watch movie on windows media player nine, but when i play music on it, there is a sound, but if i watch movie i can only see the video but i cant hear the voices.help. i have sound card, i play it on a headphone.

Try using a different player such as VLC or Media Player Classic. They're both very good players and they play just about any kind of format. No need for codecs.

search for sound codec on google.com for the version of your media player nine. that would solve the problem
