Now the Celtic are talking to Reggie about coming out of retirement.?

I live Reggie but I don't want him to comeback.

Any thoughts?

Update 2:

Typo, I love Reggie

Reggie would be a great fit if he has kept his shooting stroke. With Reggie in there the Celtics would have 2 of the best shooters in the game in Ray Allen and Reggie. Imagine a pick and roll with Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett with RAy Allen, Reggie Miller, and Rajon Rondo on the outside just waiting for somebody to double team so they can sink the 3. I'm very excited for Boston even though I'm not a Boston fan. I don't see many teams competing with them in the East. Maybe Miami and Detroit. Cleveland was a fluke.

that would be too many shooter and no play makers...they need to fill the point, the center position in the east isn't important (sorry shaq) but if they get a quality point guard to run that offense and distribute shots......its to the finals.

my advise for reggie, stay home shooting 3 pointers from accross the neighbors yard and hitting all of them. He is a hall of famer and loved by Indiana for not bailing on them. He can go hang out with Karl, Stockton, Charles and the rest of the ringless legends.

I heard. But I think he should stay retired. I've never really enjoyed seeing retired athletes come back to play, because they're never the same player. Even when Michael Jordan came back, he just wasn't the same Michael from the 90's. He played o.k. in Washington, but he still wasn't the same Michael Jordan that I remember. I think Reggie should just stay retired. He was a great player and I would rather remember him as he was.

He may be coming off the bench for 20-25 minutes in step with night. yet he has been far flung from opposition for this form of volume of time and - blended together with his age - I do purely no longer see how he will income the club. He retired for a reason and it wasn't boredom from the sport....it relatively is the physique won't be in a position to take the pounding from now on.

Reggie would be a great role player comming off the bench if he can still get up and down the court!

he's not at all what they need. Ray Allen is a better Reggie than Reggie is at this point

i would hate it if reggie miller came back with the celtics. he's been a pacer all his life and if he should come back it should be with the pacers (although he probably wouldn't do that). plus he's a got a job at TNT, he's not a great analyst, but he's ok...

They'll be asking a lot of old players to join them. That's not the last rumor you'll be hearing about the Celtics. I bet you'll be hearing Scottie Pippen and Chris Webber as possible additions.

If Reggie has any respect for his Pacers then he'll deny it. Pacer for life, and no I am not a Pacer nor a Reggie fan.

Just another case of a franchise trying to BUY itself a championship. It didn't work for Dallas and it didn't work for the Lakers when they signed Karl Malone and Gary Payton. If players want to win a ring so much, come play for the Spurs and you're almost guaranteed one.
