Following orthodontic "care" child has good many yellow splotch areas (outside areas of braces).....help!

Dentist states nothing can be done other than regular cleaning from his office care.

Claims is error of improper cleaning.

    Dentist is right - it's because your child didn't take good enough care of his/her teeth while the braces were on. There's a reason they make such a fuss about good oral care when you have braces - it's to avoid problems like these. The only thing you could consider is professional teeth whitening.

    they are stains due to food build up around the brackets. short of bleaching, not a whole lot you can do. sorry. that's why proper brushing is stressed so much.
