it just happend yesterday here in canada toronto?
Hi i bought a Ensure milk pack from Shoppers Drug Mart and when i drank it i found out that it was expired and it expired on January 2007 and i just bought it and drank it yesterday??? what am i supposed to do???? can i file a case on them? it has been eight months sine that expired but it was still in the store and they didn't even know about it. please let me know. and if there is something i can do what how and whom should i talk to about it???

Call the store manager and complain, They will probably give you a free carton of milk, but since you are not sick from it theres not much else that can be sdone.

The Expiration Date on food products is actually the date that prohibits its sale. It is NOT the date that it cannot be safely consumed. However, eight months is ridiculously long for a store to leave any product on the shelves. Call that store, speak to the manager and tell him that he could kill someone with this neglectful behavior.
If nothing else, he may have his staff update the merchandise. He should return your purchase price and give you a case of Ensure, as well.
If you get sick from this, see a lawyer....although I am not sure how much responsibility a customer has for reading the information on a product.
