What do people like to hear?

When you've got a sexy voice like T.I, I wanna hear about seduction but if not then I like to hear about personal triumph & I like knowing that rappers haven't forsaken god take Kanye West for example "touch the shy" & "Jesus walks"

I like it best when rappers try to keep it clean and say by example through their music that yes you can start out a nobody from nowhere but even you have it deep down within to make it to the top.

I don't need to hear about more violence, guns & Ho's ... I see enough of that on the streets.

unfortunately people like rappers like 50 cent, TI, and jim jones.

personally i like to hear great beats like the beats by dilla (RIP), 9th wonder, pete rock, etc. paired with nice rhymes that tell stories, empower people, or just tell you the truth, rather than talking about how much money one has.

i also like listening to witty and funny lyrics like breakfast club by z trip (he talks about how hiphop is supposed to be fun), but i also like listening to harder lyrics like those of big l or typical cats.

I like to hear great beat production & flawless lyrics. Or lyrics where the artist is storytelling in his rhymes.

I like to hear loud drums, scorching guitars, booming bass, and, frantic screeching vocals...
