Does anyone here know why it takes so long to get into IM??

AND EVEN LONGER TO SIGN OUT???

    I am having the same problem. It is not a virus, but appears to be doing a lot of things that you are not able to see it doing. I have noticed that with each new update, it gets slower and slower. It may also be that Yahoo Im is conflicting with other programs on our systems.

    either your server is slow or you got virus in your IM.

    so try it once reinstalling.
