What Do You See??

Happy,spirit-filled people, pure air and rivers and streams

you can drink from. Water falls, Forests teeming with

creature that belong there and a daily walk with God.

Looking at life through dreams and looking at life through reality, I can see strong, proud, beautiful people. Honestly, I look past the bad things and focus on the beauty of life and this country. If I focus on the bad, I would probably die with a broken heart because so much bad is happening. I know that there is love and unity in this country and if we would only rise up and take a stand, life would be much better. The problem is that we don't stick together. We have been brain washed and taught to focus on our differences rather than our similarities so we remain divided.

I see trees of green, red roses too

I see them bloom for me and you

And i think to myself:

"What a wonderful world!"

I see skies of blue and clouds of white

The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night

And I think to my self:

"What a wonderful world!"

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky

Are also on the faces of people going by

I see friends shaking hands saying "How do you do."

They really say: "I love you!"

I hear babies crying I watch them grow

They'll learn much more than I'll ever know

And I think to myself:

"What a wonderful world!"

Yes, I think to myself:

"What a wonderful world!"

Oh, yeahhhhhh.

Everybody looks at the world thru rose colored glasses,

Just everybody has a different shade of rose.

if i could have life the way that i want it to be i would want to have my older sister, and my nephew back here with me, and then i would be very happy and not sad and lonely all the time.

People, laughing, smiling and sharing. People being kind to one another and showing a helping hand.

People respecting each other and allowing each other to be who they are.

People who care.

I can't even imagine a utopia. All I can envision are small successes in small areas.

perfect .....but we all know that its not gonna be and thats ok cuz i do have it pretty good in other peoples eyes :)
