I just took the ASVAB and got a 97 AFQT... what are some good high-aptitude job options for the Air Force?
I took the ASVAB at MEPS yesterday, and I got a 97 AFQT. My Air Force scores were:
Mechanical: 98
Administrative: 97
General: 97
Electrical: 97
I understand that the job I end up with is partially based on my decision and the needs of the Air Force, but I really can't decide. I plan on taking the DLAB and the EDPT test just to see if I can broaden my options even more... but what are some good options in the Air Force for someone with my projected aptitudes? I'm just looking for suggestions or maybe experiences from other people who have scored high or know someone who scored high.
Also... with a high aptitude score, will the Air Force try to "strongarm" me into certain jobs where a high aptitude is required?

Listen to me very carefully. You WANT a flying job. Anything with a 1A prefix. I am a 1A331 Airborne Mission System Specialist.
The flying world of the Air Force is very different from the rest. You get paid more, get better benefits, work in a (generally) much better atmosphere, have a VITAL role in Air Force operations, and wearing a flight suit to work is a pretty sweet perk ;)
One thing to remember no matter which job you pick. Make sure you get it guaranteed on your contract. Otherwise you can be put anywhere the Air Force wants. Your recruiter or his boss may try to strongarm you but remember that it's your choice to volunteer and you can get in on YOUR terms.
In summary...
1A1XX - 1A8XX for your job (1A3 would be the best imo)
And get it in writing in your contract before you sign anything. Good luck!

ASVAB Score - Air Force recruits must score at least 36 points the 99-point ASVAB (Note: The "Overall" ASVAB Score is known as the "AFQT Score," or "Armed Forces Qualification Test Score"). Exceptions are made, however, for a handful of high school graduates who can score as low as 31. In actuality, the vast majority (over 70 percent) of those accepted for an Air Force enlistment score 50 or above. You may be able to join, however, you may not get the job that you want. I'd recommend studying and retaking the test in 30 days. Talk to your recruiter.
