The method of the live CD is that everything what is needed is written on the CD. You can't modify it . You can't instal or delete a program. I suggest get a real operating system.

You got the file downloaded from official Java website I assume.
The file, assuming you got the right one to download, is not RPM or Deb or any of that We'll-Roll-Ourself packaging crap, just *.bin and good Live CDs nowaday have the capability of merge custom data and custom programs from a hard drive. Hope this Dynebolic is such good little distro. I have Java installed onto my Live setup.
do the following commands:
chmod a+x thatfile.bin
./thatfile.bin

sure, it is going to run lots speedier the two put in on a LiveUSB leap force or a problematical force. the optical disk is very very sluggish while in comparison with flash media and problematical disks. and sure. you're able to do what's called twin booting, once you run the Linux Mint installer, it is going to come to the ingredient the place you partition the force (do no longer hardship...it does maximum of that for you) you opt to %. the Guided- use 0.5 the force determination (or something to that result.) the installer is very person friendly. even with the undeniable fact which you would be able to no longer run the two at precisely the comparable time, you will desire to close down one and boot into the different. once you install Mint it is going to set up a sparkling bootloader referred to as GRUB which boots almost something which would be booted. and it permit you to %. between Linux and homestead windows once you initiate up your laptop.

Where exactly are you trying to install java?
If you're trying to install Java to the Live CD it won't work. Reason? It's obvious you can't write to a CD after it's been written on.
If you're trying to install it on Windows, then you lack sufficient privileges.
