Is $3800 for a 2000 Vulcan 1100 a good price?

It has 7k, new tires, good maintenence record, clear title, spotless paint job, hard sided leather saddlebags

Update:

Lipstick on that porker?

1100??? better look at the title again. I paid 6

for an 04 classic, 9000 mi, 3000 in chrome an aftmkt stuff, custom paint, from a H-D dealer in

FL just before x-mas, off ebay..........

  • No, it is not a good price.

    Kawasaki makes a 500, 750, 800, and 1500 but no 1100 Vulcan.

If you were looking for the same year 800 Vulcan, 2700-3000 would be closer to market value.

If a 1500 Vulcan, something in the range of 3800-4000 would be market value (neither a good or a bad deal). I mention the 800 and 1500 as they are the two most popular models sold.

That will depend on the condition you mention plus any add-on accessories, mileage, how well cared for, condition of tires, any mods done to the motor or bike, and your take of the truthfulness of what you are being told.

Finding a bike that needs little of nothing with few problems and has many accessories you deem important for your pleasure and paying close to market value would be a good deal.

Buying one not accessorized at a lower price is not always the better deal, remember you will have to install all the accessories yourself. Better to just get on it and ride!

That sounds like a STEAL! It must be the only 1100 Vulcan out there, a real collectors item.

Yes that's a good price. A same year and condition Harley ( All around better bike) Would cost $14,000
