    agoraphobia

Source(s): wikipedia The word "agoraphobia" is an English adoption of the Greek words agora (αγορά) and phobos (φόβος), literally translated as "a fear of the marketplace". This translation is the reason for the common misconception that agoraphobia is a fear of open spaces, and is not clinically accurate.

It's probably not the building itself but rather the image each store has conjured up in your belief system.

Yeah, you got it from your parents, they made a subconsious tape and hypnotized you while you slept. I see you have gotten over it
