I own a boat load of stock in Halliburton, does this make me a traitor or a shrewd investor?

As soldier, this makes you a supporter of what is best for the soldiers. Is it good economical sense? No, because you can get cheaper. Is it the best ofr the soldier? ABSOLUTELY!!! Haliburton can give the soldiers items that the other companies can not and will not.
It's a Catch-22
okay liberals give me my thumbs down. I know they are coming. But it is funny how fast the soldiers get overlooked by the people supposedly wanting to look out for them.
To the conservatives, thanks for the thumbs up.
Wildfyr- I guess a first hand account means nothing to you? Typical left winger then. Halliburton is the best company in setting things up for soldiers. Within weeks of being in Iraq they had tent cities set up with American food available, gyms, AAFES services were available, etc. But yeah, let's listne to your personal views instead of first hand account. Ignorant fool, you must have not read my liberals disclaimer. You are one of those idiots who claim to support the troops, but you think Halliburton screws them over and you wish for peace to bring them home even though they wish to stay there and finish the job. Way to go, as with the rest you are 0 for 2. Try to listen before you speak.
afratta- Thanks for your gratitude. I went to give you a thumbs up and accidently hit the wrong button. Please feel free to return the favor. I wish Yahoo allowed for changing a thumbs up/down.

A traitor with no morals. Halliburton is profitting off an immoral war. They are not giving our soldiers the best support possible and definitely not the best value for OUR dollars.
cbrown--When I was in Vietnam the military did most of the things that Halliburton and other cotractors do now, and we weren't making a profit off of it. How do you know that Halliburton gives the best services possible? Do you know what the competition has to offer? Actually, I understand, no competitors were even allowed to bid.

Haliburton is no better or worse than the rest of the investments you can make. If it's good for you then it's good for you. If you think investing with Haliburton make you less than a patriot, I think not. Just do as you see fit.

i offered one once I broke up with my ex. Named her, "Floating convenience". Juicy Kitten looks like the call of a boat owned by a guy who runs an Oriental eating place. if so, his mom gave him the call and the cooking training! Jay

It makes you a liar. You would not invest in that company , at least according to you political leanings.

You need to have humanity in you. And I guess you do. So chuck them. There are better companies to invest in. Yahoo!, Google, Microsoft, and other silicon valley companies.

neither
traitors are traitors
and
investors are investors
nothing shrewed about making a good investment.
Our retirement funds are being invested in cigarette companies but I don't smoke and I don't feel anything shrewed about it, only feel that it is a wise choice to follow the markets trends.

A little of both, I suppose. They aren't mutually exclusive. Just check the records for war profiteer Prescott Bush.

I would not call you shrewd. You may make a lot of money, however, as far as I am concerned it is blood money!
You keep it! I wouldn't touch it!
