yahoo e-mail problem?
I just got yahoo messenger service. instant message,sms,pc calls thru yahoo voice. but when I try to send e-mails, out look express comes up with my girl friends e-mail as the sender! I want to send like my yahoo e-mail account. I don't know how to get rid of outlook express and to start sending, using yahoo mail.my girl friend doesn't use outlook either, she has verizon.net now. thank you for any answers.

You can set Yahoo! as your default mail application in Internet Explorer:
1. in the Internet Explorer menu bar, go to "Tools" > "Internet Options"
2. go to the "Programs" tab
3. next to "E-mail", select "Yahoo! Mail" from the drop down menu
4. click "OK"
5. restart Internet Explorer

If you don't use, and don't want to use Outlook Express, you can't remove it, but you can disable it. Before you do that, though you should export your addresses to your Yahoo mailbox. Then click on Start, Settings,Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, and on the left, click on Add/Remove Windows Components. It takes a few minutes longer for that screen to load, but when it does, scroll down until you find Outlook Express and remove the checkmark by it. Then close the box, close Control Panel and restart the computer. That will make the new settings complete and Outlook Express will be prevented from being used.
