    go to this web site:

    www.howtogeek.com

type microsoft office in the search box and hit your enter key, next page comes, scroll down till you see where it says detect & repair applications in microsoft office 2007 click it. read that page. it shows where office has a repair program built in to it rather than reinstall.

Book mark this page as you will want to vist often, this guy is adding tips & hints all the time for vista.

    hope this helps

    hi there

im not sure what exactly is causing the problem but you try and get your hands on a spyware scanner and scan your Pc for any viruses.

In the meantime if you need to work with these documents on a regular basis you could us openoffice just google "open office"

its free and will open nearly most if not all of the same documents that office will and offers the same functions.

I know thats not the solution but run the spyware scanner and use open office in the meantime if you need too.

    Hint:

-You will have to re-install office Microsoft's suggestion's don't work

-You can also bring it for servicing and if it's under waranty it's free

PS: But try understanding how to figure the problem out yourself! :P

Try reinstalling Office. Something in it may have gotten clobbered.
