Is there an flash player besides Adobe?

I am having trouble downloading Adobe Flash on my computer. I feel it may be a registry issue since I have troubleshot everything else. I do not feel comfortable messing with registry. Is there any other brand of similar flash player that I can try?

    There is no alternative. Flash is a trademark of Adobe.
