Bad credit/no credit financing?
Besides the local bank, are there any reputable online companies that can help people with bad credit/no credit get a loan for a new or used car? I realize the payments would be somewhat higher than for someone with good credit, but a place that wouldn't necessarily rip me a new one? And ixnay on roadloans.com.

Contrary to popular belief your local dealerships are your best bet. Why would you want to go through all the hassle of getting your own financing making it more complicated for you the dealer the salesman the business office and pay a higher rate than the dealer can get you ? Chances of getting a lower rate on your own is less than slim to none. For the most part there is a reason some folks cannot get a loan, it is very simple they do not pay their bills. See I told you there is a reason the rate is so high.
