Direct X problem....Direct X TEst Failed?
PCTV Rave Installation problem
I was installing PCTV Rave Pinnacle TV Tuner . I installed it successfully and everything worked fine........but when i did PCTV Assistant 5.90 to check the runnibng of TV then it showed the error given below-
Direct X Compatibility Test
Direct X test failed.Your graphics card and or the graphics card currently in use do not support direct X.Without direct X support it is imposible to run PCTV.Please contact your dealer...
Although I have installed DirectX 8.1 and runned the directx diagnosis.....It is working fine......
My systm configration is I have 845 asus motherboard
and 256mb ram and 2.4 cpu
wat should i do?????

Your device probably needs DirectX 9.0. It looks like you do not have it because you do not have SP2. Download and install Direct X 9.0 or upgrade to SP2.

type in your search bar on your internet browser directx and it should find it click on it and download directx 9 and then run the test again and see what happens if it still happens i don't know what to do plus a little hint u might want to get more ram as well like a 512MB ram stick that might help allot

dont pay attention 2 tutul, it dosnt paintings he placed up that answer 4 like 7 questions now, the Dx if all that's not available... ur pictures card sux a left nut get a greater card dude in any different case u wont b able 2 run good video games (ie gta, nfs, grid...)
