If you are really upset, what is the best way to stop crying ? I can stop,but when I need to talk,?

I start again. It's so embarrassing!

    I am having this problem right now as well. Crying is a sign that you are upset (obvious, I know). It is okay to cry so don't be ashamed. You are hurting for whatever reason and your mind is trying to release the stress and pain. It is your body's way of healing...I too am embarrassed by my recent crying fits but I also know that worrying about crying is not the thing to be concerned about. The more you talk about what is making you upset and the more you cry the better you will feel. Go through the pain, feel it. That is the only way to heal.

    Try to think of good, joyfull things and good times. Try to make yourself that you are strong, you don't desire this, that you mustn't show weakness.

    Wanting to talk is something natural after a reak down, you should talk to a close friend, that is around you, better not not on the phone, cause that make you break down and feel un cared for.

    Sit with some close person that you trust, like a brother, sister, parent, best friend or a boy friend. If none of the options seemed to be far and you were feleling that they are not much of a help, you could, go and wash your face and take deep breaths, look at a mirror after washing up, and look at yourself. Do u like what do u see? Red swolen eyes?

    Reuing ur make up? That is a bad thing to make ur self cry over, talk your self over. Sit in a near chair by the window, take deep breaths and talk to yourself-without looking at the mirror- about the situation. Be tough. You shouldn't desirve it.

    I know what you mean . Unfortunately its an emotional thing , and as humans we cannot control our emotions.There is a little trick which I learned from the hippies. There is a little point on your gum above the gap between your two front teeth. Touch this with the tip of your tongue and breath deeply and relax . This will ground you .

    Don't worry about being embarrassed, people who are a bit sensitive make the best human beings.

    I understand. Me and my boyfriend fight all the time and I cry like a toddler. Talking can make you feel better, but make sure you do it with someone who can make you feel better that you're not embarrassed to cry around.

    just cry it out

    the pain wont go until all the tsress is out

    cry away into a pillow

    and make as much noise as you want to

    lock your door

    and be free

    then after a few hours you will feel better

    time is the best answer or finding out what made you upset and why then trying to fix it
