How do you get rid of plastic burning smoke and smell?
I was boiling plastic bottles to sterilize them and i falled asleep. The smell of buring plastic woke me up. What happened was the water eventally evaporated and then the plastic bottles just melted and kept melting. Now I have a cloud of white smoke in the kitchen and it smells terrible. How can i get rid of this smell and smoke. Is this smell toxic?

errrrrr you are in a pickle.....
yes the smell would be toxic , so I would open the windows a.s.a.p and try to get some air into the room....
then I would put a bowl of white vinegar ( about 1/2 cup) and water ( about 3 cups) in the room. Also! close the doors to the room if you can so the stink does not go in the other rooms.
