Yup, I do it all the time. My Saints will eat a Kong in a day. My dogs have no side effects from it. Once tires contained a lot of petroleum product but with the new synthetics it is no longer a problem.

Car moves in different area and the tyres collect smell from the area visited. Dogs want to dominate in their own area and they urinate on car tyres as a proof of their dominance.

actually it is NOT a good idea. I know there are people who are tempted because their GIANT breed dogs (Nothing against the giant breeds, i love 'em) destroy commercial dog toys in the space of a few breaths BUT car and small tractor tires have bits of wire woven into the rubber to make them stronger and safer, this can really injure your dog.

i shouldnt think it would do any harm but its probably not a good idea cos if the dog enjoys it he might start trying chase cars to bite the tyres.iv known several dogs do this in the past.not a very safe pastime!

yes, but be very careful that they are newer tyres as old ones contain wire mesh which will not be kind to your muttly's mouth.
Also make sure that you wash them first to remove brake dust and other nasties.

Uh, no..? If it's brand new, wouldn't it be a waste?
If it was old and used, isn't that kind of gross to give your dog something that's been on the street's dirty germs?
