Phew, be greatful u live near a Meijers!! :)

Also if u have a Whole Foods near you, they offer a nice selection of GF foods. (and have the best darn chocolate chip cookies from their own GF line that are AWESOME!!)

Here are my fave brands and sites for recipes (I'm a lazy cook, I like mixes!)

Pamela's products have great cake, cookie and baking mixes

Glutino offers a huge range of GF foods that I find are most often very good.

Namaste is another brand I have heard is great, but have yet to try (will try soon tho!!)

Bob's Red Mill offers a wide range of flours to use.

Kinninnick's breads, pastries, bagels,e tc are great too.

Amy's frozen meals are good--not all are GF, read label, it'll say GF or No Gluten Ingredients

    Recipes and Ideas:

    www.csaceliacs.org

    www.glutenfreegirl.blogspot.com (not me!)

    www.celiac.org

    www.celiac.com

Great magazine: Living Without. Costly but good recipes, has lots of ad's which is normally a bad thing, but gives u lots of good places to shop u wouldnt normally think of.

Yahoo Health Groups has a group called "SillyYaks" and they have over 2k members with lots of recipes in their files. Join and you'll enjoy them. (its free)

Try going to www.csaceliacs.org and click on "Local Support". YOu'll find a support group hopefully close to you and there you'll find fellow Celiacs, or ppl on the GF diet and usually lots of resources for recipes, ideas, etc.

Hope that helps some! Enjoy the GF life--seriously! Im very happy now that Im diagnosed and healthy!!
