My friend is trying to indentify a found Cockatiel to her lost one,and we aren't sure if her birds beak color,and feet color could change from being exposed to outdoor elements.Her Birds are a nice,clean pink,and the found ones are grey.

I was wondering if anyone knew what the distance a Cockatiel can hear at, how far,just curious.

I have a missing possible Male Lutino-Pearl-Pied Cockatie,going on a year now.Someone has found one,and all it has left for pearls(spots)are on his head,the rest of him is light grey,even the beak markings are different from my lost birds.My Bird has small white pearls on the upper wing area,going into an extermely weird pattern od stripes and multi colored spots with grey showing through.Is it possible for him to have changed(molted in a years time)to a normal grey with a yellow face,and with only the Pearls leftover on the back and sides of the head?

My male and Female have three Babies that are doing well.I separated the family into their own cage,they were free flighted before.Yesterday,one of the other males attacked one of the Babies,this is why I separated them.Today<i let the Male out after having to pull him off of the Female.The Male is currently flying around,unhappy.Will the Female be able to keep up, do I allow the male to continue the feeding as he wants or should I just pull the Babies altogether and feed them myself?They are 3 weeks old today.

I am monitoring my birds weight to get a picture of their overall health,and need an average weight for them as well as the lovebird,and parakeets!

I lost my Bird Saturday,02/02/2008,A Pearl Male Cockatiel name is WindInHisHair,Wind for short,Birdie Birdie.I am asking everyone in the vicinity of fifty miles to place a clean spare bird cage on their porch or in their yards with food in it, or even bowls /saucers of foods like fresh fennel,boiled egg cut open to show yolk,seed/pellets,veggies,sprouts,sunflower seeds.etc.Please keep an eye out when you go about your daily routine,I am beside myself that this happened.He is a Pearl Multi Color 'teil,black on his wings,white,yellow,grey pearls on back,yellow tail feathers.

I have set up a land and water tank for my Frogs and Tadpoles,and would like to know what plants to get,tank is about 2 'by 3'.

I am planning to surprise him by arranging a Wedding (if Possible )at a reservation this Summer that is opened to the public so they we may be Married there,and I would like to know a few words to insert into our Vows in the appropriate language.Any sources for learning this would be appreciated,or even if anyone knows a few words,would really help me,Thanks.Try to tell me the words phonetically if possible.I am a quick learner.

What we need to know is how to properly house and care for them in order to prevent the other one dying,as well.I have done a water change in his tank,but what else should we be doing besides giving them frog food?

My Birds get along great together,they eat,play,and hang out all day together,and we constantly have them around us outside of their cage.Their is always someone home to take care of them,and they are fed well,and healthy.I don't want another Budgie or Lovebird,because I want to continue the bond I have with each of these Birds,and I don't really want Babies.So,anybody have any ideas on Birds I can suggest to my family that will probably get along with the ones I have?

Right now they are in a seperate room for the night,and she is reluctant to just let them meet without some type of control over her Dog,and what to watch for as signs of aggression from her Dog.She will not listen to me,but promised to listen to the best detailed answer from you folks.So here goes,even though I think I know what I would do...

He's generally happy and healthy,but we cant leave the room without taking him with us,because he'll follow!How can I humanely convince him to be a bit more Independent?He's about 8 months old and we hand-fed and tamed him.

and we wondered if anyone has a tested source for recipes?We already understand all of the health and medical issues,we just want good tasting food!!Other than the sources at Meijers and krogers of course!!

need to convert this to household measurement,ie:teaspoons,cups, ounces.dont know how to measure gram or litre.Anybody?sorry not enough info included last time,oops.thanks to Matt ,though.

If someone out there could help me figure out how to convert 10 grams of antibiotic(for Birds)and help me figure out how to covert one litre of water into a standard measurement, I (and Birdies) would be extremely grateful.!!!
