I had two Tadpoles, then one died sometime this morning.?

What we need to know is how to properly house and care for them in order to prevent the other one dying,as well.I have done a water change in his tank, but what else should we be doing besides giving them frog food?

Update:

Is there anything we can add to the water to medicate him?

I had tadpoles and I used aquasafe to keep their water safe. It rids your tank of all dangerous chemicals. Also make sure you clean the water regularly because the amonia from their waste can kill them.

Tadpoles are normally found in stagnent non moving water that has promenent algae growth which is what they eat. They do not do well in low ph water, if you are using tap water with chlorine remover then they probably will not last, they do not like really clean tank,s or water. they are probably not eating enough of your frog food to give them the vital nutrients that they need, your tank needs to be green with algae to keep them properly. When you find them in the wild is the place you found them clean? No it is not. You need to recreate the conditions you find there as close as possible and then you can raise them by the hundreds. ( til they turn into frogs that is) good luck and hope this helps.
