Armchair critics?

People need to be informed though, about what they give as an opinion. Its no good saying Eminem is better than Bob Dylan if you've never listened properly to Bob Dylan and you only think Eminem is better because he is in the charts now.

Since when does playing an instrument or writing lyrics qualify you to say what is good to listen to or not? Very few people involved in the world of music actually play or write, the vast majority of them LISTEN - being a musician, I know my playing and writing of music is an access to another world that I can't get to any other way and I couldn't care less if no one ever hears it but if I wanted to make money at it, I would have to compete with other people and that would mean the listeners would start comparing me. I think if you are trying to make money from music you have to be open for this comparison and you have to accept that like most of the population is actually tone deaf, they are also prose deaf and simply don't experience music and lyrics the same way that musicians do, unfortunately.

but what if the person who's never written a song in their life is saying that Dylan is better than Eminem? Does that still get up your nose? We've all got ears and we've all got opinions. Better that than just to sit there and accept what everyone tells us cos they know better.

Hypocrits, people who tell you how to live your life, then do exactly the thing they tell you not to do

Or Americans who believe that The right to bear arms is a constitutional right, if it wasnt for them idiots there would be a hell of a lot less war in the world. They sld arms to the Talliban when the Russians were invading Afghanistan then had the cheek to p!ss and moan when those same weapons were used against them

Your doing just that. We the public make these celebrities who they are by our opinions. If I like the way a certain piece of music is portrayed I have the right to decide. That`s what make the charts.....Who are you to say I`m wrong?

Religous people telling me that they believe & that I must believe too. When confronted with a direct question on the subject they resort to vague answers...eg:

Q "How can you prove god exists without seeing him & isnt the bible flawed?"

A "God is love, God is the one. We are blessed"
