how hard is the DLSU entrance exam? compared to other tests?

im taking it on Oct. 7, need some pointers, what are the most commonly thing that will appear on the exam? especially in math? is it more on algebra or geometry? how hard is the science part? is it more on chemistry, biology or physics. i really need to pass this exam. my course is chemical engineering. tnx a lot. pls also include on what year did you take the test?????????

i took the exam in '02, kinda a while back.. it wasn't the most difficult exam, in fact compared to UP, ADMU and UA&P, it was the easiest.. UA&P was surprisingly the hardest! ADMU came in second and that's where I went..

There wasn't a lot of physics, most were chemistry and biology.. there was a lot of geometry and algebra and of course, english and abstract reasoning..

Chemical Engineering is a difficult major to get into though, coz it is very demanding. My ex boyfriend went to DLSU and took Mechanical Eengineering and I know it wasn't the easiest, but good luck to you! I hope you make it! ☺

i believe UP is harder than DLSU's coz some math and science questions from UPCAT are in filipino. imagine answering an algebra problem written in math. the exam is just like your nsat...the only thing that makes it seem hard is because there are a lot of students wanting to get into the university so they set a quota. the highest graders will get in. good luck...review your math.

you mentioned it. remember that a typical exam will cover almost all the related subjects and topics.  don't take it to  chance if you want to succeed.
