This guy above me is illinformed--The TRD supercharger will add 40hp to the tC. A turbo kit like the ZPI Stage 1 will increase your power by 115%.
Things to consider (if money is not an object):
• full suspension upgrades (coilover, struts, etc)
• better rims/rubber. The stock tires are trash, but the rims are okay
• ZPI Stage 1 Turbo Kit
• exhaust system
• intake system (cold air with bypass)
• better brakes
• short shifter kit
• new clutch for increased horsepower
• boost controller

All scion parts. Supercgarger, cold air , borla catback, bilstein shocks, 350 watt scion stereo with sub, 18" wheels with p7's, lower 1 inch. Change all fluids to synthetic and leather. Oh and spacers. This should give 275 H.P. and would look good with black and black tint with spoiler and dust covers for breaks. Cost about 4500 additional and can be done at dealer. The prices are not changable so just let dealer do it as cost is included and it will be a hell of a 22.000. car. No headers unless you do not get S.C. it will not help anything.

well, it depends on what you're trying to modify first. from what you've said, i'm assuming you're more on modding the exterior for looks. i agree the tint is good, but in my opinion i like having the car one solid color. so i personally would recommend (instead of a body kit) the RS lip kit. depending on your personal taste, you could leave it black but to me i would paint it white, but that is just my opinion. a white car with the black trim like what you're going for (i'm assuming) looks pretty nice as well. you could also modify your exhaust, depending on what type of look you want. there are the stock oem looking exhausts, the "fart can" looking exhausts or the drift spec exhausts. i would also recommend switching the stock radio antennae to a s2000 type one, and debadge the front grill. maybe replace the front grill altogether with a black mesh one. if you want to go past cosmetic mods, i would suggest first to upgrade your handling. they are probably the cheapest to do. 1) rear sway bar 2) lowering kit that's all you really need to do for that. you can take it one step further and start to modify your engine, but that's more expensive. you could do: 1) turbo kit/supercharger (don't recommend supercharger, they aren't very reliable and have been known to need to be replaced within the first 15k miles and also for blowing up tc engines.if you go turbo, i recommend getting an lsd put in, upgrade the clutch and the flywheel as well as getting an aftermarket exhaust thats either 2.5 - 3.0 inches) 2) pulleys 3) intake (more cosmetic than anything) 4) NOS ultimately its all up to you, it just depends on what you feel is worth the money. if you're not into racing, then the cosmetic and handling modifications should be more than enough. ^ to what the guy said above me, he is incorrect. those mods can NOT give you that much hp gain. that's the equivalent of a turbo, and if you're going to try to get those numbers you will have to do some engine work because you would need to set the psi above 20. there is no way a tc using only those parts that he mentioned can get those gains. a person doing that would have to upgrade parts inside the supercharger itself which would thereby void the warranty on the supercharger. he is incorrect with his information, and there are dyno sheets out there to prove that those mods make only minimal gain. last time i checked, the supercharger only made 40 hp, not 140. maybe now since the compression ratio is higher it'll make higher gains, but it will still be no where near 140. EDIT: yup, he's a total moron. he thinks that running synthetic oil in your car will get you 30 more hp.

It's all preference. These cars have practically unlimited upgrades. The first things I would do personally (like I said its all preference; theyre even good stock), is lowering springs, rear sway bar, air intake, then maybe exhaust. I wouldnt spend the money on a super/turbocharger

A free flowing exhaust system. Less restrictive air filter system with a intercooler. Replace the engine hood with carbon fiber the same with the trunk lid. Lower the suspension = less drag

Dude first off i would tell you to get a K&N Typhoon intake,
its a really good start. i woulndt consider you getting headers for your ride cuz it really dont make a differ in it.
Now bout tha TRD Supercharger or the ZPI Turbo.
If you like that whistling sound i would say get that TRD but if you want some real speed i would tell you to get that ZPI
hope that kinda answers your (?)
