They should change it from a rescue to a recovery. This way they can take more time into digging through that mess and getting to the bodies.

The thought that those original 6 miners who were trapped could still be alive today is crazy. Chances are they died in the initial cave in, and if not they couldnt have lasted 11-12 days with no food, water, and very little fresh air.

If anything, set up a memorial on top of the mine, and consider it their grave before more people get killed.

Even firefighters know when enough is enough. They even have a limit as to when they know its too bad to go into a burning building-regardless if there is people in it or not. These people have hit that limit with this mine cave-in.

I think that is a really hard decision because even though the chances are slim that they are still alive, how would they feel if they were just left down there to die because they still were alive. I think that drilling the holes up on top may be the best way to go since the underground rescue is so dangerous (as we've seen). If they are able to drill a hole to them and find them, and know whether they are alive or not then they will know whether or not that the rescue effort needs to keep going or if it can be turned into a recovery effort. If they are alive and they are able to get a hole to them, they could help them survive longer. It's hard because they are all like family, and their family members and friends obviously would like to see them come home even though it is getting more unlikely, and I think it's one of those things where you don't want to leave somebody behind, but it's such a hard decision to make because it would be horrible to have them still be alive and then quit trying to rescue them.

  • I think they need to invest in new methods to rescue future hard working souls in a timely fashion. No, I don't think it's fair to give up on people who were trying to rescue the trapped miners. I am sure the families will need closure by providing the appropriate funeral for their loved ones. However, I do understand the risk of putting more lives on the line. It's jsut horrible that this type of work results to this type of loss.

maybe our government should invest in robots doing the work instead of losing human lives.

i think of that that is rather puzzling to maintain going forward to attempt to rescue those 6 adult adult males while the rescuers are put in jeopardy, yet there's a small probability that those 6 miners might desire to nevertheless be alive, I understand that it is not going, yet while they're and that they may well be rescued then that is particularly puzzling to go away them down there to die because of fact the rescue efforts have been given up. for sure they're kin and friends, and maximum folk of the community knows those miners so as that they choose to circulate forward and a minimum of attempt to rescue them and if no longer rescue than recuperate their bodies as quickly as a threat. i think of that above floor drilling must be persevered, and that they might desire to halt the underground rescue attempt because of fact that is in basic terms too risky, and a minimum of if the miners are alive and that they are waiting to get a hollow to them, they might proceed to exist a whilst longer till they're waiting to locate yet in a various thank you to get them out or are waiting to correctly resume underground tunneling.

Remember that Russian sub that sank years ago??? The men in that sub were alive at the bottom of the ocean for days!!!! They were able to write small notes to thier wives at home!!! They did die because Russia didn't want to ask for help!!! Those men deserve this rescue!!! Can you even imagine being one of them right now if they are alive??? I can and it makes me sick. Dead or alive there needs to be closure.

They can't just stop. The original 6 are entitled to a funeral and their families deserve it, but they'd be better off to keep boring holes and look from up top.

This is so sad. I think that they should just let it be. Or more people are going to be killed.

let it be their supplies only could've lasted them a week. they need to either give up or find another way about it cause we're losing more lifes in the haste.
