Wow. How anybody could fix their mouths to say the Bulls aren't a playoff team obviously isn't being OBJECTIVE about the matter.
Webster's definition of "objective"
a: expressing or dealing with facts or conditions as perceived without distortion by personal feelings, prejudices, or interpretations <objective art> <an objective history of the war> <an objective judgment> bof a test : limited to choices of fixed alternatives and reducing subjective factors to a minimum
Which is one of the things I truly detest about Yahoo! Answers Basketball. I really would like to read informed opinions not just personal biases. 1 - I'm not a fan of any one team 2 - I just like to see quality basketball.
Now, to answer the question. Based on the Bulls performance over the last two years and the relative weakness of the Eastern Conference it is hard to rule out the Bulls as a strong contender for the Championship in the East.
I personally like the Bulls style of play. They are a reflection of their Coach, Scott Skiles. They have gritty determination and play hard every game.

Odds to win the NBA Championship 2007-08
(explaining the odds)
(100/1) The odd makers think your are so terrible that they will pay you $100.00 for every dollar you bet on that team. Make a $20.00 bet, WIN $2,000.00!
(7/2) The odds makers are taking any chances. They're running a business, not a charity. For every $3.50 you bet on your team the will pay you $1.00. SO, if you bet $700.00 you will win $900.00
Atlanta Hawks 100/1 Boston Celtics 5/1
Charlotte Bobcats 100/1 Chicago Bulls 12/1
Cleveland Cavaliers 14/1 Dallas Mavericks 7/2
Denver Nuggets 22/1 Detroit Pistons 11/1
Golden State Warriors 35/1 Houston Rockets 15/1
Indiana Pacers 100/1 Los Angeles Clippers 45/1
Los Angeles Lakers 25/1 Memphis Grizzlies 100/1
Miami Heat 14/1 Milwaukee Bucks 80/1
Minnesota Timberwolves 80/1 New Jersey Nets 40/1
New Orleans Hornets 60/1 New York Knicks 70/1
Orlando Magic 40/1 Philadelphia 76ers 100/1
Phoenix Suns 7/2 Portland Trailblazers 38/1
Sacramento Kings 80/1 San Antonio Spurs 4/1
Seattle Supersonics 60/1 Toronto Raptors 38/1
Utah Jazz 25/1 Washington Wizards 50/1
So there you have it! It looks like the Spurs, Suns, Mavericks and Celtics are the best teams in the league. At least the people that risk MILLIONS on it think so... This is how serious they take it. Boston was 100 to 1 before the trade moves.

They say the Bulls are a 12 to 1 favorite to win it all. Not such good odds, better than most though! It's all about knowing how to read these numbers because there is DEFINITELY a story to tell. It's about getting money from suckers and putting it into the hands for straight up Hustlas. Baby...

You know they might not even make the playoffs in reality look at how the east changed chicago had teams that they swept in the regular season like boston charlotte orlando and the knicks but now thats 16 games right there there that they might not win because boston has KG,RA,PP and Orland has Rashard Lewis , D-ho, and Jameer Nelson, Charlotte has the best future roster in the East they have Emeka Okafur, Raymond Felton, J-Rich, Matt Caroll then the KNicks have an All-Star team with Marbury at the point Jamal Crawford at the Shooting gaurd Q-Rich at Small forward Z-bo at Power Foward and Curry at Center and then we have 6th men of the year candidates in Nate Robinson and David Lee so the east isnt open anymore my predictions for the playoffs wouldnt include the bulls Ben Wallace is on the decline, Kirk Hinrich will never reach full potential with the bulls, Ben Gordan is horrible and untill they get some Front Court depth dont except to be seeing them advance past the second round any time soon.

It's to soon to tell because an injury can detour any team (not just Chicago) from that playoff run. But their team has gotten better each year with their core young group of players.
Hinrich should have a better season especially since he pulled out the USA summer team. The rest can be extremely helpful. I think he was burned out last season from not resting enough. Ben Gordon is such a pistol! I love how he can turn it on and catch on crazy fire. Luol Deng could be an All Star this upcoming season. I think he is waaayy better than Tayshaun Prince. Nocioni back on board is a definite plus. Tyrus offensive game has shown up. His summer league play was so impressive. I'm excited about the Bulls and think they can definitely make a run to the Finals.
Since a big trade or two still can happen, I'll be more certain on my stance in October. Until then...

Discover now the best sport betting system: http://sport-betting-tips.checkhere.info/
Too many people think of sports betting as just something they do in their past time. However, many people can see the potential that exists if you manage to have the right sports betting strategy and correct approach to betting in general. Are you sick of losing? Interested in finding out how to turn your luck around? Do you want to know which sports betting strategies stand to help you make the most from your betting?
Any good strategy should allow you to place bets based on a systematic method. Of course there is always a random element or so called luck involved, but betting is all about stacking the odds in your favor. There should be no guess work involved or bets placed based on gut feelings. Betting is a business and it should be treated like one. Any money you use for betting needs to be separate from money you use for your daily life or anything else. How can you possibly expect to follow a strategy with money that was originally set aside to pay next week's rent with? You can't. This will help you to focus on the task of betting and remove any emotional strings attached to the money.
So what makes a good strategy or what should you look for in a strategy before you decide to implement it? Any good strategy needs to have a positive expectancy. This means that in the long run you will win. The hit rate of the strategy needs to be above 50% for you to be able to profit in the long run. An ideal win rate should be between 60 to 70%, because you will need to cover the fees and other expensive associated with betting. Is it feasible to expect you'll be able to find a system that has a 100% win rate? No, it isn't. The best you can do is find a system that has a positive expectancy and stick with it. In the long run you will make more money than you can possibly lose.
Keep whatever information and news you have about the teams as up to date as possible. Any changes in the teams makeup or factors that affect how the players play will great affect the potential outcome of a match. Make sure that you are constantly up to date on every aspect that affects the potential outcome of a match. Information is the key to winning at sports betting.

The Eastern Conference finals the east is so weak Boston has no bench Detroit will be hard to beat if they stay healthy but that's a big if because the Pistons are a older team. and If Shaq could stay healthy for around 30 games towards the end of the season the Heat will take it all again but I se the Bulls and the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals

Hmm, you know what I'll say the Bulls will be a threat, a strong threat. Kirk is a pest, but you have to give him his due - he makes good things happen for his team. Then the two Bens, yeah that team can scare some people - but - I don't have them going past the second round of the playoffs.
- Mavs ruleLv 61 decade ago
Second round playoffs, lose to Wizards or Celtics in a gruelling 7 games series.

Playoffs yes. They won't win the championship. I would put them getting beat out in the 1st or 2nd round. Just my opinion though.

Second Round, lose to Boston

the Bulls will only reach it to the only maker it to the 2nd round losing to the heat.
