Can Use VW Engine Parts On My Audi?
I Have a 1.8L Turbo Audi TT, and im having trouble finding stuff for it (like a blow off valve for example) but im finding it easy to find one for a VW with the same engine (like a turbo jetta) Can I install a part for a VW 1.8T part on my audi 1.8T engine?

The Audi TT is built on the same exact platform as a '99-2005 Golf/Jetta/Beetle, and the engines are the same. The differences in performance between the VW 1.8T (150-170HP) and the Audi 1.8T (225HP)is a more agressive chip mapping and that Audi uses two intercoolers on the TT. The Golf/Jetta has only one.
The 1.8T in your TT is pretty much the same engine in the A4 and Passat as well, except for small differences between the motor mount positions, exhaust and intake, due to its being mounted inline (north to south) in the A4, whereas the TT uses a transverse mounted (east to west) engine.

sure you can use some VW parts in your Audi like everyone says make sure you cross reference the part numbers, but VW/AUDI does not use a "blow off valve" in their 1.8T engines. They use a "Bypass valve" you are probably looking at an after market product and trying to retro fit it to your Audi.

You will have to cross reference the specific part between the Audi and the VW P/Ns, but in many cases they share the same parts, though not always.
They both use the G12 coolant, which is pink in color and quite expensive (around $20 per container), and only available at VW and Audi dealers.

I beleive the Passat is the same thing as an Audi A3. Find the part # on the valve and cross reference it with the dealer, alot VW & Audi parts are the same.

Yes some parts are interchangeable with VW/Audi.Just make sure the part numbers are the same, dont take chances by fitting different part numbers without expert advice from a dealer or a reputable parts shop.Goodluck.

The only difference I could think of is maybe a different engine configuration in the engine bay, since the bays may be of different shape. I would imagine the parts would be the same, except for that maybe the Audi parts would be cheaper

some stuff is the same, a blow off valve is gonna be the same, but i wouldnt put one on an audi, its not going to run right, it will run rich, your mass air flow meter is pre-turbo, therefore it will be blowing off air that it has already taken acount for and adding fuel to compensate for that air, that will no longer be there once it blows off and therefore be dumping too much fuel in the motor and not enough air
