How can I find out the cause of death for someone?
I am looking for any details really. I just found one of my good friends in the obit. I have not talked to him for a few years. I have his moms number but I don't really want to call and ask what happened.

Well if you were close friends I dont see why you can't call in regards to grief. If you just found it out she will understand. And usually when someone dies after a couple of weeks everyone usually goes back to there own lives and forgets that the parents are left still heartbroken, I know if it was me I would like to hear from someone to know that someone still cares.
