Everyone is different. If you're worried that your hair is thinning, then what you really want to know is if it is changing (getting thinner, or staying the same.)

Can you get a picture? Get a friend to hold the camera and take a picture of the top of your head? Then you can see if it's staying the same.

If it's thinning out, then you can talk to a doctor and see if you have a health problem or need vitamins or something. But a lot of people have thin fine hair, so you're probably normal. You may be worrying for nothing.

Counting the hairs will make you go crazy! You should relax a little and stop doing that. Being healthy and calm is the best thing to grow hair.

I have really thin hair too and can't help noticing how much falls out after I brush it because I always have to clean it up. I don't count it but it's about like 10-20 strands a day...

Its normal to lose 100 hair strands per day. The average brunette has 40,000 hair strands, a redhead has about 25-30,000, a blonde has the least with around 20,000. So don't worry---its the normal shedding process. I lose a lot especially when I brush my hair.

Thin, fine-haired people tend to lose a lot more hairs, but they naturally have a lot more of the thin hairs than people do with thick hair. I have blond, thin hair and I tend to lose, estimating, a good bit more than 80 hairs a day and I'm not close to bald or balding. Everyone loses a lot of hair in the day, and you shouldn't be concerned unless bald spots start appearing.

    Hi,

We shed just like other mammals. Normal hair loss is about

300-350 hairs per day. We don't notice because just like

the eyebrows it starts the growing process immediately.

If you are under 30 then you should see a doctor probably.

Unless you brush your hair alot, have tangly, untaimed hair, or dont get enough vitamins in your diet.

You count the hairs that fall out?? I could really care less, sorry but I really dont know, I guess thats normal.
