Can adult be tested for Sensory Integration Disorder?

And if so what test would it be? I was wondering if by then it would just be considered a sensitivity than a neurological problem.

An adult would probably need to go through testing to find out whether or not the SID was a condition on its own, or if it was a symptom of something else like Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Any good, COMPETENT occupational therapist should be able to diagnose it one way or the other (don't settle for someone who gives you a fast evaluation then rushes you out the door - make sure the therapist takes his/her time, and get as much information as possible before coming to a diagnosis).
