Yahoo Mail..when already signed in, why do you have to click twice??
If I'm already signed in, and i click on "mail", shouldn't my inbox be the first page that pops up? Why do i have to click on "mail" then "inbox?" Shouldn't we be able to at least set a default as to what folder opens?
(ok, that was alot of questions....forgive me)

Because the 'click' is Mans way of showing his dominion over the animals.
Light switches click, buttons click, things click together, to operate almost every device in the modern world you have to press something that makes it click.
It is almost as if we are saying that we don't need to make a lot of noise or blow our trumpets too loud.
What we are saying is 'look here nature, I am so sure of my position as the dominant species in this world that all I need to represent my greatness is this subtle little sound'
Yahoo is trying to give you something that you can feel proud of, thats all.
