1. The pants and the panties are rarely the exact same color

2. The fact that your skin is under there too and it is NOT the same color helps to give the panties and outline

3. The seams on the panties let people know where they begin and end

So, generally speaking, I would say that you are NOT achieving the desired effect. I have seen a LOT of paper thin almost see through white slacks that show the white panties QUITE nicely. Don't get me wrong, I think it's sexy. I'm just reporting the facts.

By the way, there is a little "V" of thong material at the top of the butt crack that can be seen through thinner, clingier pants, skirts, and dresses. So, it's a myth that a thong hides panty lines. Instead, it just moves the lines to different locations.

For my money, boyshorts do the best to hide pantyline, but once again, if you can see through the pants then you could see the boyshorts too.

No, you don't wear white under white, that is a misconception. You should wear a nude shade under white. Anyway, you match your skin tone.

haha. well when you're wearing a white shirt, you're supposed to wear a skin colored bra, not a white one so I would imagine you should do the same with underwear and pants. Although I think that no matter what color underwear you have on, they are visible.
