Has anyone else heard that starbucks refused coffee to the Marine Corps?

I recieved an e-mail more than 20 times about Starbucks refusing to send the military coffee. I don't know about any of you but no matter how you feel about the war don't you think a company should support a human being for thier efforts to keep thier company free not to mention yhier employees?

I will no longer be buying any products from this company who has turned thier back on thier fellow Americans!

I have sent this e-mail out to all my contacts and I ask that anyone who wishes to see the e-mail about the Starbucks company e-mail me through here.

And even if you don't want to read the e-mail I would think all americans would stop buying Starbucks products.

In conclusion....OOH RAH!!!

Sempre FI !!!!

Do you also believe the emails from the Nigerian businessman trying to send money into this country?

Do you believe the emails about Procter and Gamble being owned by the devil?

Do you believe the emails about all the products which will enhance your "masculinity"?

I wouldn't believe emailed stories unless I knew where they got the information from. In this case, the story is apparently false.

I have heard that too but I have yet to find any facts behind it. I don't know of anyone who would contact the company directly. Most people would ask a family member to send some instead of contacting the company. Sounds like a marketing scam to me.

Well its CRAP coffee any way, recently STARBUCKS had their franchise in the walled city in China closed, the locals did not like the coffee or the modern design of the place in such an old historic section of the city.

    Better off with JACOBS brand.

Well Starbuck near Lejeune was hopping when I went to visit some friends this weekend(I'm living at home while hubby is away). I think this claim is false.

You're quite late getting spammed that way. It's a false story that the company took pains to debunk some time ago.

You are going to need alot more information if you are going to send out emails like this. Refusing to send the military coffee? What are the circumstances? I'm sure you dont have enough information to make this claim. Facts are more important than rants.

I admit, it would be horrible, but you should always check these things on "snopes" an urban legend busting website. Here is a link, it contains an email probably similar to the one you received, and then goes to explain what proof they have that it is not true. http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/starbucks....
