Why is there a limit to the number of questions you can answer on here?
I've been trying to get involved in this to pass the time while at work and am limited to the number of questions you can answer. Why?

The higher level you are at, the more questions you are allowed to answer per day.
Here's a link that explains how many questions you can answer at each level and the points you need to get there....keep answering and you'll be able to answer more as you move up levels.

There's no limit on how many posts you can report. However, there's an "anti-stalking limit" (I think it might be 20 posts) after which - even if you have a high trust rating - no immediate deletion can happen. > At what level might you have enough experience to deem what is within or outside the yahoo guidelines? It's nothing to do with level. It's down to how much you've studied the guidelines, and how much you've read (and/or participated in) the Yahoo! Answers section and Suggestion Board, in order to understand the consensus of experienced users on how the guidelines are interpreted. There are users who learn from this - they'll rapidly get the experience - and ones who are either too stupid to understand the system, or lack the social responsibility to want to abide by it.

Becase answering gives you points, and they figure the highest amount of questions any serious user would do in a day is 20, so they limit to 20. If there werent a limit, everybody would go around on every question saying "Yes." just to receive the 2 points and level up.

Because that is how the game is played. If you keep at it, you will get higher in the ranks and can answer more questions. For me...I never use my limit anymore, nor ask questions because the whole thing is become a bore. I get bored easy anyway.

You don't get to answer all the questions of a very thick book. Give others a chance. But if you want to answer more, try to level up!

Because you haven't make it far enough in the "level" structure yet.
It's to encourage you to keep logging in, day after day, so eventually you'll get to a level where you can answer as much as you want.
Yahoo can use the amount of people who log in when selling advertising spaces....so they want you coming back day after day!

The higher up in level the more questions you can answer. More questions you answer the more points you get.

On level 1, you can only ask 5 questions until 12 AM.
They do this so that it makes it harder for spammers,
and people will also have to contribute and not just
only ask questions.
