Maid of Honor?

Any ideas on what to do for the bride when you are the maid of honor? I would like some ideas for the bachelorette party and for showers if you have any.

Find out if the best man really is, and pass this information on to the bride. ;-)

Someone else asked a question about what to do for their bachelorette party and I'm going to give you the same idea I gave them because I think it's so unique and the bridal party would just have a blast if you set this up!

I was surfing the web and I found this really cool idea for a party called "Bachelorette Scavenger Hunts." These companies will actually set up a scavenger hunt, arrange for two limos (one team in each one), prepare you each with a list of items/destinations, and digital cameras! Then the point of the scavenger hunt is to travel all over the area in the limos, hopping out and getting pictures on the list (for example, it might say: "A picture of the bachelorette with a guy who has a motorcycle.") Then each team would be out looking for someone to get that picture with. The team who gets all of the pictures and gets to the end destination first, gets a prize! Here are two of the companies I've found that actually arrange this:

I really like the idea of a recipe shower. Each person brings a favorite recipe, an ingredient to make the recipe, and a utensil to use in making the recipe.

The guests get to be creative. The recipes give everyone something to talk about. People don't have to spend a lot on the gift. The hostess can give the bride a three ring binder or box in which to keep the recipes.
