    This is either a trick question or a mis-typed question.

    The phrase ".10 cents" means "one tenth of a cent" so

    it takes 10 days to accumulate a penny. It takes 1000

    days to accumulate a dollar. It takes 10 million days

    to accumulate a million cents.

    If you intended to describe saving 10 cents a day, the

    other answers are fine.

    Source(s): My uncle Charles was a junior high math teacher who was annoyed if a menu in a restaurant would indicate that ".50 cents" was the price of a cup of coffee. He would order the coffee and then ask for change from a penny. (He tipped well, though.)

    10 cents multiply xday = 1,000,000 cents

    xday = 1,000,000 cents : 10 cents

    x = 100,000 days
