Runt baby kitten wont eat.?

The kittens are alittle over a month old. Ive tried feeding the runt canned milk, and have started the others on canned cat food sometimes. Hes tries to eat it but is so week. I feed him with a dropper but he doesnt want it. What more can i do? I hate to se him just die but im out of things to try. He doesnt even have the strength to eat from his momma... (tears)

Because he is so weak, he may have some sort of infection, which would mean he might need antibiotics. If you can, you should take him to the vet, as soon as possible. He lasted a month, but if he is having trouble eating, then he needs some sort of treatment. The canned kitten milk at the pet store is the best food for him, but if he is so weak, then he must be sick. Help him by taking him to the vet, or see if an animal rescue leage can help you. Sometimes a Humane Society Vet might be able to offer a lower treatment plan for you, but sounds like some sort of infection, and they can go pretty fast in a little kitten. You don't want to risk having the milk run down his throat, and into his lungs, if he is so weak - take him to the vet.

You are not feeding it real milk, right? The kittens will starve to death and become sick on cow's milk. Make sure you are feeding them special formula for kittens.

The best advice I can give would be to go to the vet ASAP. He might need an IV...if you get him nourished enough, then he will eat on his own.

Please don't give up on the little kitten. :(

I'm sorry. Sometimes one or more don't survive. Have you asked the vet about it? This has happened to me. All I could do is wrap the kitten and hold it and keep it warm until the end. Very sad.

You could call the vet and ask someone there about it. Has it been going to the toilet? I have heard that sometimes they need help to go so that could be why it is not eating and it is weak.

try using a medicine injector filled with liquid and luke warm food, and feed the kitten that way , or you can just put food over it's mouth so it can lick it off
