I am having trouble downloading updates for microsoft windows xp Help!!!?
everytime i go to download updates from the microsoft site, it tells me the download failed..I have windows xp professional (sp2)..I need to download like 50 updates...I am barely computer literate, so do this elementary style please. thank you so much for your help.

something is blocking your downloads,i have had this happen to me before,long time ago.being since you said you knew little about the system i am not going to tell you how to fix it by reloading to factory level,i think it would only add to your problems and make it worse,i suggest you contact your brands support center ,they will get your problem fixed in very little time,again i am not trying to hurt your feelings but think it would only compound the problem by telling you how to fix it good luck
