My wireless mouse stops working after about a minute what could be wrong?

It stops working for about 2 minutes after that it does work again until the nex time I use it. It has new batteries in it so it can't be that.

    See if the battery is in tightly or if you need a new battery.

    it is the dining section !, so maybe the mouse got hungry, and went out for a BYTE !!
