Friend or NOT???

i have a friend that i thought was a good friend. she and her husband were having trouble and she needed a place to stay so we (my husband and I) told her she could stay here until she found something eles. she did and we all got along very good. she and I have been out many times just like friends do. now b/c i would not go out with her one night she will not speak to her call me or even come to see us. now our kids became very close during all of this and now my kids are asking to see them what do i say and how do i handle this? Is she truely a friend?

I don't know about the whole kids thing, but I do know about the "you not going out with her one night so she is not talking to you". that happen to me all the time with a "friend". one night she even went so far as to threaten me with pictures of things i regret. If someone stops talking to you because you don't want to go out one night they aren't really your friends. I learned this the hard way. right now I only talk to this girl because of, well, a good reason.

They are not your friend if they throw that much of a fit over you not going out. I didn't learn my lesson the first time and i went threw months of fights and problems with her.

sorry i can't help with the kids part.

    Lordie NOO!!!!!!!!!!!

she's being really immature and mean so it would be best to forget about her

just tell your kids that she's been busy lately and you don't know when she can come
