Ladies and Gentlemen: Should I be freaking out like I am?

Question

My "boyfriend" and I had a date earlier and he ended up having his kids so we couldn't go.  He told me he wanted to talk to me, but couldn't at the moment (I am guessing bc of the presence of his children), but he said he would call me later.....I automatically thought he was dumping me and going back to his ex and asked him, but he said what he wanted to talk to me about is nothing serious.  I don't know what "nothing serious" means and he never called.  I am freaking out thinking that it's over, but I just need some opinions......All this was through text messaging, btw.

First calm down and take a deep breath. I think your just over thinking the situation, women do this all the time. Maybe he got preoccupied with his children and couldnt call. Give him until tomorrow and dont be so quick to jump to conclusions. If he does go back with his Ex then he didnt deserve you anyway. Hope everything works out :)

You are overreacting a little.  Children are very demanding beings.  I know when I babysat 4 kids at the same time, all I wanted to do at the end of the day was eat dinner and go to sleep.  He most likely was so exhausted at the end of the day that he wanted to wait until he was awake and all there to have a conversation with you.  I wouldn't worry about him going back to his ex unless he has been pushing you away and trying to keep distance between you.
