Has a QB, known for his mobility, ever won the Superbowl?

Update:

Young...good one. I don't know why he did not come into my head when I was trying to think of one...Thanks :)

Roger 'The Dodger' Staubach won two Super Bowls and played in FOUR! Only losing two close ones to the great Steeler teams of the 70's.

Source(s): Joe Montana was pretty mobile himself, though not quite at the Tarkenton, Staubach, Young level.

Steve Young won Super Bowl XXIX 49-26 against the San Diego Chargers. Fran Tarkenton unfortunately didn't win us any of his 3 Super Bowl appearances (Joe Kapp was our QB in Super Bowl IV while Tarkenton was in New York). John Elway was extremely mobile. Brett Favre won Super Bowl XXXI, and he was pretty mobile back in the day.

by using "like cam newton or Andrew good fortune and RG3 would be" i visit think of you mean drafted from college, fairly than after having performed for a exchange professional league, like Kurt Warner, Jim Kelly or Warren Moon. the respond on your question isn't any. in actuality, no rookie has ever lead his team to the tremendous Bowl. i could say that Tom Brady is in all likelihood the nearest occasion of a rookie QB triumphing a tremendous Bowl in his first season. Brady became into drafted in 2000, yet threw all of three passes in his one interest that 365 days. Ben Roethlisberger is the youngest QB (by using age) to win the tremendous Bowl, yet in addition gained in his 2nd 365 days as QB.

As people said, STEVE YOUNG, mobile and champion.

I would also say ELWAY, he could run when he needed too.

I would like to also add that TARKENTON never won a SB, 0-3 I believe.

I never knew of Steve Young for his Mobility but he did, so did John Elway, who was supposedly a dual threat as well.
