why do people w/ small apartments who are not home much get large active puppies & then complain?

I have no idea! I wonder that myself. Or why do they get yappy dogs then complain about barking? Or why do they active hyper breeds then complain when they destroy things from boredom?

Because people don't think about what an animal means. They get breeds that are cool or cute and then think that raising them will be a snap and then they find they are wrong. It comes from uneducated people getting dogs. If they want pets they should do their homework first so they know what they are getting into. Dog ownership is a privilege and not a right.

Thank You. Small Dogs are great pets. If you aren't willing to take the time with large breeds, don't get them. It's cruel to the animal and will wreck havoc on your household.

Because they see dogs as a luxery and not as a responsibility. It's like a woman buying a necklace that she never wears or a guy buying golf clubs that he never uses or vice versa. People don't think responsibly anymore and sadly the dog suffers for it.

Because they haven't thought the decision to get the puppy, through thoroughly, and that isn't fair to the dog, AT ALL!!!

Cause they didn't research their decision, and didn't take the time to think things thru ... And they bought from a breeder who didn't tell them that it wasn't a good idea...
