Yes I have. My dog is a neoolitan Mastiff. When I come home my house was a wreck because my dog has all day to herself. We had to learn to put up all 'edibles'
peole need training too. I wouldn't trade her for the world.

No, I think before someone gets a new puppy they should be sure they have all the time they need that is involved in puppy training. A new puppy needs lots of attention and time, if a person doesn't have this extra time then they really shouldn't get a puppy "or" complain if the little thing destroys their yard when they are not home much! âº

Crate train him while you're home, use a bathroom or other small room when you're gone, with puppy pee pads. There isn't much in a bathroom to destroy. From what I've read, dogs feel responsible for the entire house when they are left alone and it causes too much stress. Confine them so that they won't feel so much responsibility. That's what the experts say, anyway.

No darlin I never had a pup to do that. I do however have a full grown Brittany spaniel that will rip anything up she can get her mouth onto when she gets bored with the millions of toys she has and its not hunting season. But I dont get mad at her we know she is highly intelligent and needs constant stimulation problem is finding a toy that will do it, we have other dogs she plays w none stop its just part of being a Brittany owner.

Me ?
No, but other people do.
I'm home all day, that's why I have pets.
And I can understand people having to work, and wanting a companion to come home to, but I hate it when they work such long hours and that poor dog has to stay home all by itself.
That really isn't fair to the dog.
Unless people get a pet sitter to take the dog out, in the afternoon to go potty and for a walk.
That's what I do for a living.
And I love it ;)

I have not, but my daughter did.
Her chocolate lab ate EVERYTHING when she left the house for any amount of time at all.
He ate the knob off the door, chewed his way through an entire wall, and believe it or not, chewed and clawed a hole completely through the floor so you could see the basement below!!!
